About our process
What can you expect when we come to your home?
First, we lay tarps to protect your floors and furniture. Then, we set up large vacuums to collect any stray soot and creosote throughout the process.
After all that, we’ll sweep the firebox and chimney using brushes specifically designed to handle the tough job. Once we’re done, we’ll leave you with a written evaluation.
Preparing for your appointment
So, your appointment’s set… now what?
We ask that you not use your fireplace or stove for a full 24 hours before we arrive. This guarantees that everything will be completely cooled and safe to handle for our team.
We also ask that you clear a 6 – 8 foot space in front of the fireplace. This gives us ample room to get the job done, and it keeps your belongings safer too.
